The DAC to the left of the TT 2 is my previous “chip” DAC, the Oppo Sonica DAC. On top of the Oppo is the Beyerdynamic A20 headphone amp. They have been demoted to my iMac system to the immediate left of the Oppo. JBL LSR 305s and LSR 310 sub. The other system is what I’m using the TT 2 on. SVS Ultra Bookshelf’s and an SVS SB-2000 sub.

The difference between the Oppo and TT 2 is indescribable. It’s all the adjectives everyone has talked about. I feel like I somehow cheated by going from the Oppo to the TT 2. Now I have to decide when (if) I get the M Scaler. Thanks to everyone who has provided great content on this forum!

It sounds incredible! I’m a (has-been) percussionist. I’m always focused on how the complexity of reproducing percussion is achieved by an audio system. Most DACs struggle to produce the realism of Percussion sounds, especially cymbals. The TT2 blows away every DAC I’ve heard. Also, the soundstage depth, and width and instrument location is impeccable. I have a lot of re-listening to do with my music library. The TT 2 is worth every penny! It’s like the old joke, Why are divorces so expensive? They are worth it! :)

That's Pepper, my buddy's dog! When we have out audio nights, she is by far the smartest (and sanest) being in the house. Last several times we got together she chose to stay outside, but when the TT2 was playing, she came in to join us! (see how I made it on topic? :wink:
