how would I do this?

and thank you all for advice!
What program are you using to play music?
In windows there is a system tray in the bottom right, and you can chose the driver there from memory (I could be confusing it with something else).
but in programs like qobuz you can choose the driver, they appear as types of end points in a sense. Your pc will have its standard audio out, there will prob be a786 usb device and another device that says chord on it.

Hi guys

I’ve been using my tt2 for About a week now. And i am very happy with the Sound quality. My Empyreans have never sounded better.
The headphone Output of the TT2 makes my Feliks Euforia more or less useless. Looks like i will be selling that.
But i have a slight software problem. Youtube seems to dislike the Chord Drivers. Every time i want to start watching a Video i get an error message
and i have to refresh my browser to start Playback.
After that it works fine.
Has anyone else had this Problem?

After some fiddling about i think i found the problem. Windows installed default drivers before i could install the Chord ones.
And then refused to use the Chord drivers to deliver sound to the device. After deinstalling all audio drivers on my PC and then reinstalling the Chord drivers
Windows is now using the Chord drivers to send audio to the device.

Windows is now using the Chord drivers to send audio to the device.

When I first connected the TT2 to my PC it was recognized immediately and worked without a problem.

It also sounded better than my previous system.

I then thought of searching if I should do anything to get 100% of it in windows and also remembered there is a driver for windows.

Before installing the driver the name was Chord Hugo TT2.

After I installed the Chord driver the name changed to: Chord Async USB 44.1KHz- 768KHz.

The sound quality also improved.

Is that the name you have now?

Yes exactly.
And now i dont have problems with Youtube playback. I had the Chord drivers installed bevore but it seems Windows decided not to use them.
Now i forced Windows to use them and the problem stopped.

Hi,

My TT2 is getting really hot and it's scares me.

It's as hot as my AV Receiver but the TT2 doesn't have any ventilation for air.

It's very hot, The volume ball and the buttons also feel hot.

For now I turned it off.

Is this normal or should I be afraid?

It's a brand new unit and is only a few days old.

I finally added an Mscaler to my TT2 today, is it worth it?, Hell yes. It is hard to describe what exactly it does, but it seems to slow things down, and put all the pieces to each song exactly where they should be. What I am noticing on the first day with the Mscaler is that ALL my music now sounds excellent, I don’t use Tidal or Qobuz, but have over 2,000 albums on my Naim Core, and since I installed it this afternoon, I have not stopped listening to music all day. I now play all albums all the way through, not just skipping to certain songs. The last hour or so, I have been listening to several internet Radio stations that I like on my NDS, mostly Naim’s choice stations, Radio paradise various mixes and a few others. They all sound way better now too, so all in all, very impressed so far. Now this is with the supplied BNC cables with ten ferrites clipped on each cable, so it can only get better from here. The next step will be deciding if I want to go with an Opto-DX or Nick’s Wave cables...hmmm, and which gives a better bang for the buck? Since I live in Windsor Ontario, I might go for a ride to visit Dan, I think he is in Burlington, a few hour drive from me. I have to wait for my bank account to recover first, and really, how much better can I expect it to be?, my noise floor is dead silent right now...I think.

congratulations. maybe a dave would be a good step up:deadhorse:

i interpret the slowing down as now i hear the music correctly timed whereas before there was digital masking no matter how small.

Mime got hot too, and in summer was particularly worryingly hot. There was nothing anywhere near it. I would ask Chord what the acceptable temperature is, measure it with one of those laser thermometer things, and take it from there.
