I corrected someone recently who thought that the TT2 drove 3V in line-level.
I said it was 2.5V according to the manual. I just checked now because you said 3V. However page 41 of the manual, 'DAC mode' - it does say 2.5V.
Whereas I thought -3L and -3H were 3V. Plus you just said that in a post. Am I being daft?
No I don’t flagellate, not familiar with the term but if you mean joking around in lighthearted fun, then yes
There’s a lot of flagellation in Ireland. No that’s not what I was thinking
No it's me that's daft. I tweaked down DAC mode to 2.5v, as that's the knee point in the distortion curve with low gain - so yes DAC mode is indeed 2.5v. And 3v can be a little too hot for a lot of pre-amps.
Operate tt2 off grid. Tt2 might not be getting the earth as psu has no earth connection.got some weird humming noises coming from my iem when connected to the tt2, the iem have full metal casing and when i put my hand on the tt2 case that noise disappeared.
That noise even exists when the tt2 is powered off but connected to the psu.
There is only optical connection between tt2 and my pc.
What can i do?
its already plug directly onto the wall, anything else i can do?Operate tt2 off grid. Tt2 might not be getting the earth as psu has no earth connection.
