Thank you. Chord states nothing about this in their manual unfortunately. Unless…. I glossed over it as I mostly ‘speed read’ if you know what I meanYep that’s in stby. And you will note that after a while it will cool down considerably.

If chord said nothing then nothing to be alarm. However, the manual did highlight the clearance space
And if one is experienced enough then he will detact any adnormaities e.g. as hot as a class A amp...sort of

I trust that the clearance space I've allowed within my Cabinet and vent holes are adequate for the pairing to operate efficiently. Also, I've allowed the distancing for the BNC cables to connect straight and without tension placed upon them.If chord said nothing then nothing to be alarm. @naynay, I draw the line at three WAVE Storm BNC’s.

You use 2 bnc for input? I thought it was just one. What do you think? I have been contemplating this tweak
It’s only useful if you are feeding signals greater than 384k to the mscaler. in my case I play my pggb files (16fs 24b) to the mscaler and on to the TT2. The mscaler does nothing to them but apply some noise shaping. PGGB or mscaled? I enjoy both but mscaled for Tidal and Qobuz is the only option. You use 2 bnc for input? I thought it was just one. What is the difference, would you say between this converter and usb direct to Mscalr? (Thanx for sharing btw)

The Audiowise BNC cables supplied with the opto-dx or src.dx are very bad. I assume they have poor screening and pick up RF noise. Incredible really as my BLU2 is about 4 metres away from the DAVE / opto-dx receiver. I replaced them with 4 x 1.2 m long Oyaide DB510 BNC cables. The DB510 cables have a triple-layered shielding structure and high quality connectors. They are also reasonably priced. The sound quality is darker and more natural when using them.

Which player do you use? How do you switch between the "drivers" for Chord and SRC-DXIt’s only useful if you are feeding signals greater than 384k to the mscaler. in my case I play my pggb files (16fs 24b) to the mscaler and on to the TT2. May I ask.... what do all of you do with your wiring? Is it neatly gathered, stuffed under something, wound around holders? All of these mains blocks and cables surely contribute to some sort of interference and definitely untidiness. Is there a clever way of how you do your wiring? Let me see if possible. Love to have some great ideas.
I use roon as it will play 16fs wave files. HQPlayer and Squeeze are other players you could use. Squeeze probably has the best sound but the convenience of roon trumps all imho.Which player do you use? How do you switch between the "drivers" for Chord and SRC-DX
I feel it adds definition to the bass and upper mids. I'm not sure the science behind that but every time I try usb direct I am back to the src-dx shortly. What is the difference, would you say between this converter and usb direct to Mscalr? (Thanx for sharing btw)
