If you also use it for video then you can keep the first light sphere yellow on the M Scaler and it will automatically switch to lower quality mode if 48kHz is detected in order to reduce the audio latency to 0.1 second, so the video and audio won’t get too much out of sync

Good point and that is why I have auto video mode switched off because I often listen to radio and I do not want the MScaler to switch away from full mscaling when it detects the 48k of the radio stream.

You may have to manually adjust your pc to 48k out if switching to video. This happens with my imac if i view you tube videos.......so here even if the video is 48k with you tube the imac will not adjust for this so you have to do it manually.

The mscaler came. Thanks to Charles at the Headfoneshop in TO for a most enjoyable ling distance buy. I will get the Moon cable for the H2 tomorrow. So:

The TT sounds glorious. Wide soundstage, bass definition, accurate transients, ENGAGing!!
The H2 sounds kinda flat. It will shine tomorrow I’m sure.

HQPlayer is not a substitute for Chord dacs I can honestly say from many listening hours.

Sounds like I’m there. Worth the wait.

Just spent about 8 hours listening to H2, TT2 and Dave with and without M-Scaler.

Dave + MScaler was so many magnitudes better I really couldn't listen to any other combination after that.

Depressing, as it was around $15k for the whole package. I had really hoped to love a cheaper combination.

Quite sure we will see DAVE 2 in 2020... with much better amp stage to rival TT2 and form factor that enables stacking with MSCALER as we will not see an MSCALER upgrade for 4ish years.

This combo Mscaler + Dave 2 will probably offer the best SQ on earth for several years.
