100+ Head-Fier
Interesting. What was it about the TT2 you didn't like through headphones?I used the TT2 only for headphone use with the M-Scaler.

You could be right - but some people seem adamant that one is better than the other; I just wanted to try to see understand my own experience - basically, to figure out what I'm supposed to be hearing. Is it better bass? is it clearer imaging? is it better definition?Maybe after 235,905 taps the difference is imperceptible? You also might want stop the pursuit or you'll end up with $4k cable suggestions.
More then 6 hours, but I didn’t want to run it till the end, so it was disconnected when it started to show 25%.May I ask how long a run time you get out of it?
Excellent. Thank you.More then 6 hours, but I didn’t want to run it till the end, so it was disconnected when it started to show 25%.
I’ve finally moved my M Scaler as far away from my TT2 and the rest of my audio gear as possible given the length of the BNC cables that I’m using. This has really helped the SQ of my system and the positive affect was easily noticeable. The HMS is of course the silver box in the corner.I currently have my TT2 stacked on my M Scaler. How far apart should I separate them for reduced RF interference? Would something like this be suitable? https://www.amazon.com/Ginger-Reindeer-Lifestyle-0-2-Dust-Proof/dp/B0979G6T2R/ref=sr_1_28?crid=2TAGHQ81QW234&keywords=desk+riser+12+in&qid=1646017112&sprefix=desk+riser+12+in,aps,111&sr=8-28#customerReviews

Via spdif (bnc to rca). I did use toslink but you are then limited to 192 output.@Olmanwood123, I read this review last month about the Weiss DAC502, and I was intrigued about how it sounds. https://www.whathifi.com/us/reviews/weiss-dac502. How do you have the M Scaler connected to the Weiss DAC?
Hmm, going by specs and dac chip used I would be very surprised if it beats your TT2/Mscaler judging from the fact that it seems to be based around an older ESS dac chipand possibly the same one or very similar one to the one I have in my old Benchmark DAC2HGC ie a ESSS 9018.@Olmanwood123, I read this review last month about the Weiss DAC502, and I was intrigued about how it sounds. https://www.whathifi.com/us/reviews/weiss-dac502. Nice to see a Musical Fidelity amp in your system.Hi, I’ve just bought something very similar to this
VonHaus Monitor Stand for Desks - Height Adjustable - Screen Riser for Computers, Laptops & TVs - Clear Curved Glass with Aluminium Legs - Designed for Home or Office - 38.5 x 24cm https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0195D2...t_i_7F40TAT9JP7F7AKEZE6J?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I’m using to sit between one of my boxes after separating the M scaler from the TT2 as you can see here
I’m going to get another one to do the same thing for my M scaler
I don’t know whether it is or not, what I do know is my system sounds better than it ever has. But I intend buying another glass shelf to separate M scaler from the Innuos as soon as it comes back in stock. Another thing I’ve just changed is powering the TT2 with a Poweroak power bank, and the difference to the stock power supply is simply revelatory! Definitely another power bank to be ordered for the m scaler asap!Nice to see a Musical Fidelity amp in your system.
But although you are separating TT2 and Mscaler well, isn´t Mscaler causing RF interference on top of your Streamer instead?
I keep mine as far away as possible from any other HIFI equipment including my Qutest as my Storm BNCs allow ie 1metre and now enjoy the best SQ I have had from it.
Cheers CC
