Well suppose somewhere where the diminishing returns of the cable don’t justify the additional cost. What is a sensible price for you?

Without demoing the cables it’s a total crap shoot.
But between you and me, sensible is the amount I could justify to the treasurer of the household finances.
True, sorry, I see a supra cable for £40, I like the brand, I’m sure that’s a good shoot. The parameters you specify are different for everyone, which makes offering suggestions futile. Perhaps assume whatever stock cable you have on hand will be sufficient as has already been suggested.
Supra is what I use. They conform to the usb audio standard (90Ohm impedance, etc). Good cable for a good price.
Wireworld Starlight 7 about $100Well suppose somewhere where the diminishing returns of the cable don’t justify the additional cost.

Not sure what will be the case for countries other than the UK but a 2m long type ‘A’ to type ‘B’ USB cable was included with my M Scaler. Is it correct that the usb type b cable is not included with mscaler?

Agree with that. I listen to a lot of ‘50s and ‘60s jazz. A good deal of it has almost unbelievable quality! For the guy that asked for a good 60s recording.
Try 'We get requests' from Oscar Peterson trio. You'll get amazed!
One of my reference 50s is 'Art Pepper meets the rythm section'.Agree with that. I listen to a lot of ‘50s and ‘60s jazz. A good deal of it has almost unbelievable quality!
