Hi, I recently bought a used monarch mk2 and it came in with a small crack on the shell. Over time the crack has gotten bigger so I wanted to figure out how to repair it. One way I've heard to fix it is to use Loctite plastic bonding. When googling I also came across sgaudiohive and saw that they can repair iem shells. I wanted to find out what other people recommend I should try to fix the iem well. I've also added photos of the crack but it isn't that easy to see them. In person though it's a lot more obvious.

I use Loctite gel for a lot of stuff. It's thick, so I use a pin with a tiny amount to get really small spots. It sets up in 1 min initially, then an hour doesn't need clamps. 24 hours for a complete cure after that.

Same problem here, I contact them and they told me it was not their fault but I see I'm not the only one with the problem. Have you fixed them? How?

I bought loctite for a plastics then used painters tape to cover shell except for the crack. Then once the glue hardened I sanded it down with a sanding sponge and sand paper. Before sanding I replaced the painters tape then sanded down to smooth out the glue and avoid damaging the shell as much as possible. So far it had held up well without any issues. This is how the finished product looks right now a few months after the fix.
