Hello Head-fi,

I own a pair of ATH-M50s' and a X-Box 360s, and I was wondering if there was anyway to somehow turn my headphones into a headset, don't know if I worded that correctly. I cannot plug my headphones into me TV because it is rather old and has no aux or audio port. So Head-Fi, any ideas? Splitters, Adapters, something? Please let me know and have a great day.

Depends on how much you want to spend, but right now I think the best choice is probably to get these two things:
http://www.modmic.com/
http://www.astrogaming.com/mixamp-usb

a cheap way would be to get a y splitter cable female rca to headphone out and a fiio e5 to boost and clean the signal

the con is you'd have to charge the e5 everytime you wanted to play, or have it already hooked up to usb constantly

The best way is to mod a mic onto it and get an astro mixamp. The cheapest (good) solution is getting a Steelseries Spectrum Audiomixer and mod a mic on. I've seen people take the 360 mic, take it out of the casing and mod it on. If you go to the MLG forums, and go into the tech sub-forum, you'll find a million different ways to do this. They have 2 or 3 audiophiles over there to, or did when I used to lurk there.
