Well... funnily enough (unlike Head-Fi members) "most" of the people up here in Scotland are quite small and I feel kinda out of place towering over them and comments at school like "what's the weather like up there?" didn't help much either...... I don't mind being tall but really would prefer 6' 2" rather than 6' 4"

Plus, according to some guy on the TV, tall people don't live as long as their shorter counterparts.... not that I want to live to a ripe old age but considering my father and all his 6 brothers died in their 50's and their father died at 42.... well you get the general idea.

Plenty of advantages being tall but there are also a few disadvantages.

Ha, at least I am taller than terrymx by an inch. All though I think he is really young so it doesn't count.

So at 5 foot 2 do ya think I am too short to make it as a professional hockey player?

You are probably tall enough to play on my sons peewee ice hockey team. The question is do you have the skills?

I'm 6 feet 5.5 inches tall, 17 years old, AND I'm Chinese. Not so rare anymore, but still decently uncommon. Plus, I have a size 16 foot. It stinks, as I can't fit into normal-full size cars anymore, and I have an uber hard time finding shoes/clothing in general. At least headphones are still giant-friendly

I'm 6'0" and about 265, although I'm on my way down! I can EASILY bench press half of my weight! So there.

5' 10" and 150 lbs. I'm surprised at the proportion of head-fiers who report being over 6'

and yeah, that's really crazy about all the 6-pluser's at head-fi... could be some sort of statistics project!
