I'm going to the movies for the first time in 6 years tonight (going to see 300), and I REALLY want to eat some beef jerky (favorite food) while watching. However, our movie theater doesn't sell any beef jerky, so I was thinking about just sneaking some in my pants (near my buttocks). I figure they wouldn't search me there. However, my brother told me that they have people at the projector that keep a general eye out for behavior and outside food. Is there any truth to this? I'd hate to get busted in the middle of the movie for smuggling beef jerky, and also possibly end up ruining some of the movie for others.
What have your experiences been with outside food? I'm thinking about just putting the jerky in a zip-lock bag and hiding it inside my jacket for the movie. Any other ideas (I COULD buy some of their popcorn, eat it, and then store the bagged jerky inside the popcorn bag...but then I'd have to pay up the butt for their expensive popcorn)?
