I used to shower once every few days until my roommate in college had enough (and tortured me into once-a-day showers). Apparently, bathing customs in the US are different from those in other parts of the world. Who knew?

I live in Brazil, so it's gotta be AT LEAST once a day. It is impossible for me to skip a single day without feeling dirty, smelly, muggy, etc...

Showers put off negative ions like large bodies of water and what they pump into Las Vegas casinos. They supposably make you feel better(mood inhancers). So i can see how some would bath often, me once a day, occasionally twice if surfing or working out.
