Nope, not tried that.  Not a nut fan either.

21 Seasoning Salute is perfect.  No salt needed either.

Try it jc, guaranteed you'll like it or I'll buy it from you.

Going to TJ's tomorrow during lunch, how it is on steak?

Steak needs nothing, yeah?  Little salt and pepper, maybe.

But it's great.  Really.  Makes you go, Mmmmmm.  I'm sure Clayton would agree.

speaking of steak, can I just say that the best I ever had was of all places at Millers 46, in my hometown of Bangalore in India. Was shocked how good it was.

I cook on a semi regular basis. I stick to mostly south indian dishes. Being remotely coached on portions and spices to use by my mum :)

I use Himalayan pink crystal salt. Is that the same as your pink salt, jc9394?

Different seeing that Western themed steakhouse in India, would never have thought you would find that over there.

I really enjoy a good steakhouse, last dinner was at Jacobs & Co. downtown Toronto.
Here is how they make a table side Caesar Salad, worth stopping in for:

Duck fat fries, steak is served with three different types of salt to choose from. popover style bread, well you get the idea...

Is that how you are supposed to cut up a T-bone steak. Brilliant! That looks so perfect.

Okay, this is not true to the actual Dutch recipe but since had no puff pastry on hand I had to toast a hamburger bun instead. But was it delicious.

Yep, goes very well with steak. Cooked three rib eyes from whole food with it when my buddy showed up unexpected.

Oooo. Steak or fried chicken. A good quick meal when guests arrive unexpectedly. Okay, maybe not fried chicken unless you make a run to KFC.
