Eh urayamashii >< Even when I watched subbed anime, I didn't really pick up much :frowning2: Studying in Japan for around 5 months helped but I still didn't take the JLPT.
 
And Chinese living in the Philippines.

Not sure about english subs but correctly translated chinese subs actually helped a lot in my case.. can say that watching anime is almost what I've done to pass the test ><

I don't think it's actually possible to pass JLPT with just watching anime. You will still have to learn the language yourself. Watching anime helps.

ah of course one will need to somehow used to read/writte in japanese to pass the test too > <
 
I was just saying that it don't really need any special preparation

If you're already good at the language, yes, you don't really need to prepare for it.
