My first pair of headphones, Sony MDR-CD270 I bought in 1996 and I have lived with them for over 10 years using them on a daily basis, never considered upgrading.
When the pleather came off (only after 10 years! - I really take good care of my stuff) it had a negative effect on the bass and I bought a pair of Audio Technica ATH-A500's, which I have used for 2 years before I got my Denons.

Once I got DT990, this is my fisrt real Headphone, I began to find new another one.
You know, this way seems like no end. And basically no end.

I buy new one every month. because of my salary.
Now I have 10 headphones.

My oldest pairs are the Sennheiser PX100 about 4 years old. Since May I bought the 701,1001K and the Shure SRH 840 with a little dot mk11 amp and a marantz DV6001 for my source a new Ipod touch. I am done for now. Hope the bug ends.

I just recently got my AKG K701s, about 2 months ago now, but my Audio Technica ATH-AD700s I used as my primary for just over a year before I got the AKGs, and I still use the AD700s at work but not as my primary cans.

I bought my HD595s about 3 years ago. I wanted to change them several times, but it somehow never happened, don't know why.

The W2002 was my primary home phone for about 5 years. The PFR-V1 became my primary phone a little over a year ago.
