haha, 7 3/4 here too, verging on 7 7/8. I wear my Grados almost as far out as they go, and my DT770s at 5 1/2 notches on each side.

I can only wear my K1000s for a short period of time since they're pretty tight on my head.

I'm not sure...average I guess? For my RS-1s, I don't really have the cups extended from the headband more than a few millimeters...does that mean I have a small noggin?

I have a pretty large head too. When i am using my DT880 or grado, i have to fully extend the headband. On the HD650 is is nearly fully extended.
