Just booked one FX700 from Japan, now its on the way. Holding ipod classic&ie8. I know FX700 is gonna surprise me. But how about unamped on ipod? Is it good enough, or do I need an amp?

The JVC FX700 provide good volume through HP out but if quality AMPs connected with highend LOD then sound quality much increased.
