To my ear, AMP3 is the only DAP qualified to reproduction perfectely symphony and other classical musics.

- Classic 160gb take to work, play in speaker system, lots of music
- Nano 8gb for travel, nocking around the house, good battery life, don't usually need charger
- Clip, mostly for work around the house, yard work, wash the car, etc. Especially small, clip is very convienent, etc.
- Others that I have given away and in some cases, yet to give away
- Soon, clip+ so I can use an microSD card for my jazz collection

Please note that I didn't list one to leave in my car. Heat is just about the worst thing you can do to your battery!!! In Houston, it kills them quickly.

I have had one (ipod 5 gen 30 gig)in my car for 2 years now with no problems. Cable runs out of back of Alpine head unit into the back of glove compartment where ipod is safely stored. I guess it could be a problem just laying in the sun, but mine never leaves the glove compartment.
