How did you find Head-Fi?

The voice in my head told me about it . . . seriously, I think I was searching info for grados. Which are still retro-hot btw. Don't remember exactly how I got here, though.

I got lost after headwize went down way back in 2001... didn't know for a few days that this place was up... it was only by sheer luck that i found this place as early as I did.

I first heard of head-fi while I was browsing the forums at hydrogrenaudio.org. I was looking up info about what my codec options were for different daps as well as what headphones I might like to get. As it turns out, when I found head-fi i ended up buying, 2 headphones, 2 sources, and 2 amps before buying a dap almost a year later.

I saw an article on headphones in Newsweek and visited Headroom from a link in the article, and through Headroom got to here and Headwize.
