How did you find Head-Fi?

i bought an iriver imp350 as my first "high quality" audio gear and a few months after i was looking at better headphones. i saw this http://www.avland.co.uk/sennheiser/px40/px40.jpg
and thought it was quality and search for info on headphone on google. so i went here and ask about it. and ended up getting a px200.

i knew it was all about the music, even before getting into the audio hobby. music back then was more enjoyable and sound better to me than now. walking in the woods and listening to music with my imp350 and px200 was better than sitting home now and listening to my $1000 speaker setup.

Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooogle when looking for a new mp3 player. The headphone forum was very daunting, with everything throwing around names and numbers I had never heard of, so it took me a little while before i started venturing over there from the portable audio forum.

Found the love of my life through match.com.

Seriously, I googled portable headphones. Was looking for a substitute for the earbuds that came with the Zen Touch. The 'buds didn't suck, per se, but they didn't stay in my ears very well.

Except for the Zen and the D-EJ2000, everything else in my sig came after discovering the joys of Head-Fi.

I was having a fight with my wallet one night. Then out of pure spite I decided to go out and take a walk. This little place on the corner called head-fi caught my attention. I only wanted to stay for a few hours, but I found myself going back everynight just to check what was going on. And then like an addiction it slowly took over my life. I went everyday for no reason. I tried to resist and leave, but it just had this magical hold on me.

Then it finally happened: I met this little beauty called Shure e2c. My wallet found out about it right away when the bills came in that month. But I still couldn't stop. Then came the Sennheiser hd280 and the Koss ksc75. Night after night it was a new temptation. I don't know what took over me. Finally my wallet couldn't take it anymore. It threaten to leave me and take my bank account too.

Someone please help me! I need intervention.
