The cord has breaks on the right channel only and are getting worse to the point of making them useless. Luckily I still have Grados. I just received a reply from service that the cord is no longer available and there is no substitute. Any suggestions are appreciated.

You can make your own with some 600V rated wire and a Stax like male plug which is available from Allied Electronics.  Add some nylon multifilament and it would look very nice indeed.
