1 Ultra scsi 36 gig
and one ultra ata 80 gig

116 gigs total, have about a thousand mp3's, probably using about 25 gigs of all my space. Im not really a storage nut, and what videos I have edited i keep on cd's or DV tape.

I have two 20GB drives for my laptop and 20GB in my iPod -- definitely not enough space, as much as I thought it would be. I still fondly remember the days of my Apple IIe with like 600MB.

280GB here

120 + 80 GB in my main machine.

40 + 20 GB in my second machine.

20gb in my laptop.

You can never have enough hard drive space. I remeber being amazaed when I upgraded my 386sx16 from 40meg to 170meg. I swore that I would never be able to fill amount of space but now, well.... lets say that terrabits are not too far off!

The same situation can be found the whole computer world over. Like so many others on this board, I started out with 8bit computers with Z80, 68000 and 4044 processors running at less than 1MHz. Now some 20 years later, anything less than 1GHz seems positively slow. Access to the outside world via the internet is essential but for so many year our ocmputers were isolated.

I makes me laugh so much when I come across a 16 year old so called computer whizz who waxes lyrical about their first computer being a 1gig P3.

Peace

Who makes the 200g?

Western Digital most likely.

I have a 45GB and that's it. I'm seriously running out of space, but I seem to be spending money on other things besides hard drives at the moment.

I have 1 120gb and 1 200gb in my computer. Both are wd special editions. I paid 179 (279 - 100 rebate) and 149 (249 - 100 rebate) respectively. I got them both within a year of each other at Fry's.
