Just wondering how big your harddrive(s) are?
I just added a 120g to my wife's G4 and I have a 60 in my 12" PB, daughter has a 30 in her iBook.

Oh yeah gotcha.

Heh, those questionable thread topics are always not what they seem...

My home PC has an 80 gig, as does my Sony Vaio laptop.

Mine's longe... I mean bigger.
(72Gb x 4) x 2, 40+60Gb, 20Gb, 120Gb, 30Gb x 2 pocket drives
= 876Gb.

Geeez... That's HUGE... ... what do you need all that space for, anyhow? [and what kind of ungodly case can you hold that many drives in?...]

1x 20 gig
1x60 gig
1x120 gig

I need to replace the 20 and 60 gig HD's and get two 120+ gig HD's

SHN's suck up a lot of space

Heh, I can understand the need for more space.

Seriously though, I have 500 mb left on my 80 gig and that was filled up awhile ago. I've just been burning stuff to stay afloat so to speak and not downloading much, plus I have basically no games installed on my comp. I really could use some more space.

876 gigs though...wow, that's like 11 times the current space I have.

currently i've got a 40gb as my main drive and an 80gb for storage, internal. my ibook has a 30gb. i guess that totals 150gb. when i sell the desktop and pick up a laptop, i'm gonna get a 200gb firewire external (possibly cobra brand -- i have to do some research on reliability and soforth), and the laptop will probably have a 40gb internal.

my cd collection on mp3 and video files take a lot of space... and i remember one day thinking that no one would ever really be able to fill 1 gb (back in the days of the 386sx chip).
