How big is your Computer Monitor's Screen? - What's its Resolution, etc.?

22" 1680*1050

I am one of those people who full-screen pretty much every window. Mail and firefox are stretched to fill the screen. iTunes isn't, purely because I have the EQ window open below it (bass&treble reducer for listening to podcasts with extra-loud stings when trying to get to sleep).

Other than that, my lappytop is 1280*800.

This is a 1920 x 1080 pixels pic, i.e. a full HD pic.

How does your display handle it?
Do you see the whole piture? Do you need to scroll?

My 19" (4:3) dipsplay does not show the whole pic. I need to scroll a lot.

I only have a measly 15.4" 1280x800 laptop screen. Once I get a desktop I'll probably run at least a 22" screen.

This is a high_resolution.jpg 3280 x 2606 | (1.9MB) picture.
How does you dispaly handle it?
I find it very difficult to find the text/editing box.

P.S.
This is a link from my post #58 above: Computer dispaly

I guess that one needs at least WQSXGA Wide Quad Super Extended Graphics Array 3200×2048 (4:3)
to avoid any substantial scrolling.
A better solution would be WQUXGA Wide Quad Ultra Extended Graphics Array .... 3840×2400 (16:10)

Oh my!
Do we really need 3280x2606 images embed into the page? Totally screws up the page layout..

This is exactly what I meant.
Such extremly large pictures mess up the page layout completely.
Additionally it's very hard to find the text editing box. -
Try to re-edit your post on this page.

And that is exactly why I sometimes suggest the following:

Quote:

Please do not post very wide pictures.

*******************************

Also, as I've mentioned in my post above
there is a way to make it even wider using some editing trick (Align Right button/icon?),
by placing some text, say, "Test' to the farhest right.
Can anyone of you do it?
I don't know what is the (maximum) width in pixels in such a case - 5000?, 6000?
