Do yourself a favor and locate the following tubes:
 
Mullard
Voshkov
Cifté
 
Each set should run you around $25, and the Mullar will be about $45 a set. Very different sound signatures, they all require 100+ hours of break-in and they are light years better than the standard ones.

I've picked up several sets on eBay, plus the French Radiotechnique I got from ALO.
 
I have Voshkods, Telefunken, Mullard, Sylvania and another tube I can't recall on the way.
 
Basically, way more than I'll be able to really listen to for a good, long while. I was looking at accessories and figured $100 bucks on tubes would have a much bigger impact on sound quality than $300 interconnects.
