Spiders can be some of the most beautiful critters around actually. Some of the tarantula species are basically living jewelry.

Avicularia versicolor.

Poecilotheria metallica.

Brachypelma smithi.

I don't have anywhere to keep spiders at the moment but as soon as I move to a new place I'm definitely going to keep and breed tarantulas. They're way too cool.

According to Wikipedia, many Harvestman species are omnivores:

But, no venom and no fangs - I like that!

BTW - you can dress up a spider however you like - I'm still not inviting one home...
