No oversampling is not included. That's something you'd need to do within Roon or HQPlayerCan you post some pics of Red OS (streamer mode)? Does it come with any settings for oversampling?

No SSH access to the Holo system ? I'd be curious to know what the kernel and base is (Debian, Arch..)
No video output on RED... but RED OS should be able to boot on a simple RPI4

RED eagle has landed!
Testing just few minutes though. There is no user manual in package and no user manual online yet. Going to test as DDC right now. Too soon to comment on sound quality, will do after 1-2 weeks of burn in.
Just small hint. Already better than Matrix X-Spdif 3 via AES/EBU. Going to test I2S next.
Stay tuned.

Congrats! Can you post a bigger picture to see how it matches (or doesn’t) with the rest of the Holo gear? Thanks

Right now it sits on temporary additional rack while I am testing Sonnet Morpheus (which will be part of another setup in another room). Will be sitting under Moon amp right next to Innuos PhoenixUSB.Congrats! Can you post a bigger picture to see how it matches (or doesn’t) with the rest of the Holo gear? Thanks
Very nice in reality (compared to online photos). In person it is more dark-ish red, quite nice in fact. Will post more photos when it will be sitting in the main rack. Right now testing I2S output (Aurender - PhoenixUSB - Red - I2S - Spring 3) very promising, considering unit plays just first 2 hours.

It looks nice and doesn’t scream RED as bad as I thought it would. Thanks for the pics, nice setup.
I know it's all about implementation and all, but which clock is used in this streamer? I dont see it in the specs
Also how is the Wifi performance, does it come with any antenna to increase the coverage?

Interesting equipment rack too; what's the make/model please?

CM4 comes in both WiFi and WiFi-less versions. It is unclear which version the Red uses.I guess Pi Compute Module 4 does have Wi-fi, I may be wrong but based on Pi OS it can be enbled I feel
Edit: Taking a closer look at the internals of the Red on Kitsune site shows that the CM4 in the Red is the WiFi-less version.

Those speakers are Diapason Adamantes III 25th. Solid walnut wood, stunning Italian work! And they do sound very good. Life like sound, opened, holographic, very detailed, while polished highs, punchy bass (for the size), very natural sounding mids (human voices etc), great for acoustic music, ideal for jazz and classical, quite decent for rock/pop also. Those speakers are stunning...how do they sound?

Rack tripod is from company Benalex (no longer existing). Solid oak plinths are made by me, also speaker stands (solid oak wood + massive steel plates) are my own design, made myself too.

They are beautiful looking speakers. Excellent work on the stands too - very professional!

Congrats on the Red! Got it pretty fast imo. I don't think Kitsune has shipped any yet.
