Mine took about 7 weeks to arrive at my house and am very pleased with it. I came from Spring 2 KTE, TT2, Cipher lvl 1. I have the Cyan as well to use on my cheaper equipement very happy with Holo Audio over the completion. So the May and Cipher are my two favorite top range DACs that i've owned just really couldn't take advantage of the Cipher on My Woo 33 amp as it only had RCA outs. So the May being a dual mono balanced DAC it really shines with he WA33 Elite. It's big but not as big as I thought it would be.

Maybe too early to tell, but I wonder how Holo May hangs with the Cipher in areas where tube components typically do well, like perception of depth mainly...

I have a Aqua La Scala 2 i use in my main system and just recently used a AudioByte Hydra Xox dac with my headphone system , the Holo May KTE dac is replacing the Vox . The Vox is a great dac at its price point and being fed a very good source it scales up very nicely against more expensive dacs I’ve borrowed from a group of audio friends,.

Coming across member GoldenOne exhaustive review convinced me to order the May dac which I’m still waiting delivery.

Anyone have problems with Amazon HD? Amazon only see's my May as capable of 24 bit 48k. Tidal doesn't have issues with playing 96k or any other. I like Amazon better the exclusive mode does liven things up.

Just wondering, how much delay does PLL add? Are we talking half a second, or more like 2-3? Thanks!

Maybe 5-7 seconds. I don’t exactly remember because I don’t switch sources around. It only takes that time when you switch sources.
