My MAY KTE arrived monday

I’m still waiting for my KTE dac , it’ll be fun Monday ,,...What’s up stream of your dac ?

I had the MAY Level 2 dac, also great! Before that i have used Cambridge Audio 851N, Audio-GD Master 7, NOS7, R7 and HE7

Well, that should be interesting, level 2 vs 3. Some naysayers saying KTE is more of less gimmick, so I think a lot of people will wait for your impressions.

Im guessing like a really good solid state gear vs tube glowy gear with illuminated sound. Matter of taste. For me it's hard to imagine a system without a tube component.

I will let it play 24/7 for a few days before serious listening, so it will take some time.

You have a Serene already? Haven't yet heard of anyone who had one yet. What do you think about it?

Im very attracted to looks of the Holo Audio components, your Serene preamplifier along with your dac will in my minds eye make a very handsome pair .

I picked up the Serene KTE just an hour ago, first notes are very promising!

Mine took about 7 weeks to arrive at my house and am very pleased with it. I came from Spring 2 KTE, TT2, Cipher lvl 1. I have the Cyan as well to use on my cheaper equipement very happy with Holo Audio over the completion. So the May and Cipher are my two favorite top range DACs that i've owned just really couldn't take advantage of the Cipher on My Woo 33 amp as it only had RCA outs. So the May being a dual mono balanced DAC it really shines with he WA33 Elite. It's big but not as big as I thought it would be.

Too Bad your Wa33 isn't black, those double device looks match really well otherwise.

Dragon comes next week and that will be connected to the rca outs of the May.
