Holo Audio Cyan 2 DAC

I have a few questions, 1. the cyan 2 will natively convert DSD to analog, without converting to PCM first?
2. As far as I know the R2R is for PCM, not DSD. So if my focus is to use HQplayer an convert all PCM to DSD, I should not care about R2R, right?
3. Then how is the quality of the cyan 2 on processin the DSD signals??
1. yes - Cyan2 does no digital processing on data (for both PCM and DSD inputs) - it is pure conbverter. Better said - it is two converters in one case.
2. yes - R2R PCM converter is not used for DSD input and vice versa.
3. DSD part measures excellently at DSD256.

How it stands to DSD64?
I was pretty convinced to try R26 during next seasonal discount on hifigo but after reading threat about measurements you shared earlier I`m not so sure.
Difference in my case is that I won't be using upsampling but still my collection contains a lot of DSD music which I like to keep in native form. Do you think, in this scenario should I consider Cyan 2 instead of R26? Streamer functionality is not deal breaker for me.

With R26 you would pay for the functionality you don't intend to use. I would go for Cyan 2.

Thanks for the advice buy why?? The dealer who sells Ferrum products in hong kong also stacks the oor and hypsos. (Although I have already bought a small racks for all the equioment).
Measurements show a significant increase in low frequency noise when stacked.

I seem to recall @GoldenSound also noted something similar?

I did hear a difference when I own the pair, too, before measurements confirmed it.

PSU noise was still below -120dB when stacked.

It is better when unstacked, but I really wouldn't worry about it maybe unless you were running IEMs

Not great for heat...
I use it with my S17 to cover the amps screen and this thing gets hot and no problem, tho not optimal for sure, manufactures should take into account if they have bright LEDs or screens to have a stand by function.
