What is the go to fuse upgrade for Bliss these days?
Hey brother, thank you for the detailed response. Unlike the SR fuse, which is easy to distinguish between the hot and cold side(s on top or bottom), the audio magic fuses have the m and the 1 or 2 side by side, the only info I have is that the 1 is considered an arrow/indicator of which way electricity is flowing. So I assume the m2 fuse will have the same direction. With that being said, which way should I place the m2 fuse? Upside down or opposite and since the bliss is flipped, it really confuses me. And thats what my confusion is.Hello,
The picture above is just an example of where the pins are located.
If you look at the IC socket.
Now turn this schematic IC socket 180 degrees to the right/clockwise to the right, then this installation direction corresponds with the Bliss.
In the first picture from the diagram the hotpin is at the bottom, since you have turned it 180 degrees to the right, the hotpin is now at the top.
Now look where the M is on the fuse and install it on the hotpin side, so in this case the M should go on the upper pin.
Hope that helps you?
It is important that you have the correct fuse value in amperes and whether you need T or F.
Another point is to pay attention to the fuse value between EU and US devices.
As the value can be different.
Can't find any statement about m2 direction. Logically to think if you can normally read m2 this is standart direction, if the it's turning into w¿ this is flipped. Most likely for bliss you need flipped. For your spring dac, look into inlet, if it's inverted to Bliss's inlet - use standard fuse direction.Hey brother, thank you for the detailed response. If you can tell me how the fuse should go in either the bliss amp or my spring dac (which I think is not flipped like the bliss), then i.ll do the opposite in the other device. Just need to know how the fuse is supposed to be placed.
Thank you for your help and please let me know
That logic sounds goodCan't find any statement about m2 direction. Logically to think if you can normally read m2 this is standart direction, if the it's turning into w¿ this is flipped. Also, don't be scared to trust your ears and simply pick which kind of fuse placement better to you

If you already have the KTE, any upgrade that will bring sonic benefits over the stock Holo Red fuse?
I had the SR master fuse in my bliss before I switched over to the m2 fuse and I totally agree with your comment. The sr fuse makes the bliss sound more organic with a mid and top heavy sound, this the bliss sounded a little lean to me. When paired with headphones such as susvara and caldera , the bliss lacked low end. But the audio magic fuses emphasize on the low end and vocals without touching the top end at all. So you get a more fuller, thicker sound imo, if that's what you're looking for.I have SR Pink, its sound much more organic, natural and refined through whole spectrum, really another league of realism. The problem with SR for me personally, it's decreasing bass quantity making Bliss, which I was never considered bass monster, really shy and lean, almost thin.
I haven't heard SR master myself, but saw the comments it's even more neutral and bass lacking than pink.I had the SR master fuse in my bliss before I switched over to the m2 fuse and I totally agree with your comment.
