  Bandcamp or the respective artist's website. But either way you can almost always find high quality 320Kb/s MP3s of whatever you want, so there is rarely any need for FLAC. It just takes up more space..

They are quite the space hoggers, those FLAC. I have to agree.

Seems like legitimate marketing tactics on HD Tracks though, just my opinion. 'HQ' recordings sound better than CD album quality to me (an average consumer), and they're selling HD tracks just as their domain suggests. Their prices are reasonable too it looks like. Not seeing any trickery or scam personally.
