The WA33 is actual a very easy tube amp. It self-biases, so you don’t need to mess around with anything. You just put the tubes in, power on and you’re ready to go. And from then on out, you just plug your headphones in and push the power button. It’s that easy
I use low gain with my speakers as recommended by Benchmark, might be a good idea to send them a mail to check, they are usually quick and scientific in their replies…. Maybe good to ask as well what the benefit would be for 2xAHB2 vs 1xAHB2 for using the Susvara vs 1x if any…? ( and compred to a TT2 front vs back) all above would be of interest…?
2x AHB2 just sounds better, better deeper bass, punchier, better image i dont know, its hard to describe. When ever I switch back to 1x AHB2 ( sometimes I try ) i’m thinking “yes this is realy good and its hard to say whats missing “ but switching back to 2x AHB2 its an instant relieve like “ ahhhhh oh yes, that was missing “ But that also might depend on what music your listening. I listen to a lot of bass heavy music.
Sounds like me. While I haven’t tried the 13R, the best I’ve heard so far is the 23R, which I even preferred to the AIC-10. The Riviera was delicious (and so cool-looking), but the sound wasn’t quite as much to my taste as the Enleum. Slightly less crisp, somehow.
Another plus is how worry-free the Enleum is. No tubes whatsoever, auto-switching voltage, and if something goes wrong, it’s an easy size to ship.
Very happy.
(Also very happy with my silver cable from @skedra — just fantastic.)
I had the same experience, the Enleum sounded punchier and just a little brighter. To me the Riviera made the Susvara almost sound to smooth and sometimes it felt even boring. But switching the Riviera to the high gain setting made the two amps sound really really close.

I won’t speak for @fabfive51, but my AIC-10 experience *was* from the speaker taps. Until then, regardless of the gain setting, the difference wasn’t even close for me — the Enleum was markedly better.
Thanks! After reading a lot and listening different amps I soon came to realise this thing needs power indeed! Anyone who claims Sus has not enough bass or sub bass realy needs to try it with a powerfull amp. I work in studio's with 100k monitors and perfect acoustics but the picture that the Susvara paint is maybe even better. Incredible.

understood but for me the tubes themselves are an issue...concern about their being broken..taking up space and also the need to ultimate replace them etc...I get the appeal though
Is there any info on the comparison between AHB2 (or 2 AHB2 bridged) vs Enleum 23r to drive Susvara?
I've seen rave reviews about both options, but interesting enough I haven't found a single piece of comment on direct comparison between those two. If I missed something, would someone be kind enough to offer a link?
I know AHB2 is a lot cheaper but multiple sources reported if you bridge 2 of them it's better, and then you are pretty much at the exact cost of one Enleum 23r.
Susvara sounds amazing on Dave's HP out. Has sub bass, great tonality and highs even on stock cable. Any criticism is due to their chain, not the Dave's hp out.
