Is this also for old style 901?

Since the S-version has sleep mode and the original don't I expect the firmware to be different. You'll have to check the updates at the site.

Success! I bought a new 32gb SD card. Formatted as FAT32 and copied the "update" file to the card. Update ran without any problems and now my 901s is back to 2.003.

I just downgraded back to FW 200.3. This FW has a slightly lesser bass quantity...makes it treble a slightly more airy/increased. And mids is slightly clearer too. Overall its sound-body is sounded might be a hair slimmer than FW 200.4 but in return, we get a slightly cleaner tonal delivery (brighter and more dynamic) with FW 200.3.

Personally..i prefer FW 200.3. Sounded more right to me.

I'd want screen protection - my glass sub screen broke when it slid off my knee, whilst putting an SD card in, and hit the charger.
Hifiman did a good job of fixing it (though there's no UK distributor so it has to travel the world).
Now I know that that screen is "delicate" I'd want an extra thick screen leather wrap over.
 
Maybe I'll cut holes into it's padded DS case

I just got the 901S the other day. Greta sound. Definitely an improvement over my Imod.
 
I am currently using it with my Sennheiser IE800 IEM's. Which is the best sounding amy card to use for this?

I listened mine yerterday while charging it. No static spotted. They run just like normal as usual.

use it while charging very damaging on the battery thats why i got another battery @30USD..
