I'm using this one and it is working flawlessly

I agree that Sandisc are great cards as well.  Thought about a 128, but they are still more than 2x the price of 64G.  I also carry a Cowon X7, with the 160G hard drive, and a few extra cards, so I am pretty well set.  May take the plunge later for the 128G, but am more interested in the iem card or the minibox card, both of which are in my possession now, and i am starting to compare them to the stock card.  I wasn't interested in the balanced card, so that one is not on the horizon for me at all.

If you keep a close eye on the sandisk 128gb, you can get it for $80. I got mine through a sale with some coupon codes.

Can't wait to hear about your impressions.  I am sticking with the stock card until I get more impressions from the others.

Where? I realize the price goes up and down but that is a great price. Maybe when someone finds a good price they could post a link here.

Coming from a C3/BH2 mobile rig driving mostly Hidition NT6 Pro CIEMs but also TF10s and LCD2s (yes, it makes the LCD2s sound good too) - I have been very happy with fantastic sound quality and an infinite battery life as a bonus. However, reading about the DX100, AK120, and now the one to beat - the HM-901 - I cannot help but feel like I am missing out on something. Does anyone else have the C3/BH2 combo as well that can provide me with some prospective, and even better if they share any of the same HPs? I am trying to figure out how much I have to gain if I throw down another grand.

I don't have the C3/BH2 but have the LCD3. For reference, 901 with balanced board/discrete board drives it extremely well, much better than my AK120. It is also drives the LCD better than the International or pico with AK100 that I tried extensively with the LCD3. Not sure with other even harder to drives cans like HD800/HE6 but I think 901 should drive most fullsize well enough.

I am receiving an audio-gd NFB-10ES2 balanced desktop dac/amp and will post some comparison with the 901 later.

It can drive the lcd3s fine? That's good news, was worried the 901 might struggle on its own to drive my he400s

I'd assume(or at least hope) that the 901 would be designed to meet the headphones made by its own brand, especially with the sale of multiple amp cards. I would probably cry a little if the 901 was not compatible with the HE-500. So I guess with that being said it would be able to do fine with a LCD headphone.

I don't think the 901 is designed to drive the HE6. At least the 801 isn't, and the 901 doesn't look that different in it's power usage.

I tried driving a demo HE6 with my 901, even with the highest powered discrete amp board I need volume 6.5 to 7, no distortion or clipping etc but cannot say it sound like how it sounded from the EF6. Dynamic range and sound stage became more compressed. Maybe the last announced card, the U235 card that was rumored to put out 6W at 32ohm is the one that can drive the HE6.
