I received ordered Hifiman hm-801 Flac-player (the first April 2011), but the Player's technical activities does not correspond to my expectations.
 
First i try Trancend 16gt speed class 6 memory card. Now i know, the card is compatible. Then i try Kingston 8gt speed class 4 card.
I put a card inside and now buttons doesn´t work. Only on/of and scroll up buttons working. Others, nothing happened. I can´t see any artist, albums or memory card. Move right, move left, move down and center buttons are dead. 
I am very disappointed for techinical quality.

Sorry, i mean Trancend 16gt is NO compatible.

Try taking the card out and re-inserting it while the player is still on, then choosing "Update Media File".  If that doesn't work, try turning the player off, removing the battery and putting it back in.
 
Will it show and play files on your Flash on Board?  If nothing works, you can ask for a replacement/repair, Head Direct is pretty responsive to people who have a receipt.

I taking card out etc. No help. I dont open batterybox becauce it is so tight.
Once i heard the sound and the sound is just what i want, perfect.
