I stick with my green-brown-gray poop-ish Stax'. Hehe...
Question is whether I should arrange my speaker amp for ease of use with my speakers or my HE cans.. Decisions, decisions...

The proper way to do it, is getting an amp with A+B speaker outputs

It's the volume control that's the problem here.. Can I get an amp with volume in the back and front? lol..

An amp with remote, that's what i need.

^If I upgrade it'd probably be a DAC/pre with remote and a power amp.

They look really loose on the foam. How comfortable are they?

They do affect the how the HE-6 sounds quite noticeably, but I would say, may be for best for what pad can do. They are awesome with HE-6, I feel they are made for HE-6 rather than LCD-3. The stock pads are good but music sound lot more familiar, more like a headphone in-fact. Soundstage and Separation is top notch with Vegans, others areas improve and HE-6 sound how it supposed to sound like, but Vegans just kicks stock pad for layering in music, each instruments are easier to hear. Also vegans dwindled the brightness of Emo UPA-200, it makes sound more smoother.

In short till vegans was included in my setup, I was happy about it, but with vegans got that wow feeling …this is what I was look for kind of felling….very near to end game setup. Unless I am tempted to replace amp for better one.

Nice pics phillyd. I really can't get over how beautiful the HE-300's color scheme is, silver on black is my favorite color pairing for gadgets. My laptop, monitor, amp, and dac are all silver and black and the HE-300 would blend in so well. But the HE-400 will have to do :)

My HE 4 has silver Beyer Velours and it sounds the EXACT same as the Hifiman Blacks [but O WAIT black n Silver COLOR]

so yea $30 get's you some Silver Velours
