Definitely an improvement over both stock pads. Only slight downside is, which is ymmv, the pads are thicker which increases the clamp force. Have you tried the focus pads?
Yes. not my cup of tea.

I've got the ZMF Eikon suede perf pads on my HE500 and the Dekoni Audeze pads on my LCD3. From what I remember the ZMF Autuer pad is closer in size to the Dekoni Audeze pad; however, the Eikon pad isn't too much bigger so either in suede should do the trick.Yeah, you've mentioned that before.... excuse me while I grumble...
BTW, anyone know what the closest pad to the AV currently available is?
thumbs down for what ? the headband ?Well, Adorama has the v2 for $699. New headband. Given the thumbs down on recent version(s) of the 560, 5se, and the 5XX inspired by the HE-500, not sure whats inside. Hoping someone can grab a pair and supply pics of the cans with the pads and screens off.

Ahh ,, the HE6se is way way better than the 560 or the 5se even better than the Arya ,, i would highly recommend getting them for this priceTry reading again. I was talking about issue with other HFM adventures not the HE-6se v2 which I haven't heard yet.

Sorry i forgot that you own the HE6se ,, hopefully when i receive the V2 will share some pictures.Umm not quite. According to some 560 fans the latest revs selling on Adorama were poor quality re: sound and workmanship.
I verified myself that the 5se is built NOTHING like the HE-5 or HE5-LE, and sounds nothing like them, in fact they were so bad they are the ONLY HFM's I've ever sold, others agreed.
The HE6se via Adorama are also called into question by some. At first I did, but realized after an upgrade in pads and cable, and having my VAC go back to 120 after months at 114 that they are great cans - esp at $699. In some important ways better than the HE-6, in others not. But again HFM fibbed by saying they were the same as the 6. Magnet, gold traces, and rear screen the same - but: pads, size of magnets, material used for the can itself, cable, headband - all different and all contributing to a big change in sound.
I have to see detailed pics of the new v2 to know if its the same as "v1" or not.
In terms of amps, my HE6se seems about as efficient as HE-6 6 screw. Max volume for me is 3:30 on Gain 2 of a Ragnarok. Gain 3 max at 50 ohms is 10 wpc. So 4 wpc @ 50 ohms ought to do it, 6 for sure.
I don’t have Susvara but maybe in term of naturalness and dynamic then HE6se is the closest of Susvara sound signature
I have both, He6se sounds nothing close to the susvara.
Where does it say $699? I looked and it says $1,799.Well, Adorama has the v2 for $699. New headband. I don't know what the plan was with this new headband design but it looks budget as hell. On visuals alone, it looks worse (to me) than the original style. It's fine for the entry level headphones but not for the HE6se.
Agreed, but at $699, you can afford to put on an alternative headband later.Where does it say $699? I looked and it says $1,799.

I'm not good with temptation... I just got an Eikon, Atticus and an HE1000. I was planning on getting out of this tooIt's the same headband for the even more expensive planar R10 they're now selling.
