I think I might as well get the Fiio K5 Pro then.. 1.5W into 32ohm's🤩🤩
It's a good, affordable amp-dac combo. Lots of features and versatility. Sounds clean and drives almost everything I own pretty well (chokes a bit with my DT990 600Ohm). One quirk to be aware of is that it has digital volume control and with more sensitive headphones the volume steps can be a little bigger than ideal so it can be hard to find the sweet spot for the volume. The advantage of the digital volume control, however, is there there is no channel imbalance regardless of the volume level. That's worth the tradeoff, IMO.

Thanks for the heads up. I think it will be just right for my Sennheiser HD 560s and my Hifiman HE 400i 2020👍👍

For those that want to try to lower the treble a bit, this is what I use. No other mods, only 2 plies of toilet paper (unbranded in my case). Very similar to Beyerdynamic tp mods.

Alternatively, you can use dollar store shelf liner similar in pattern to the one below plus 1 tp, this config doesn’t completely take away the steely sound from my experience. (400i 2016 pictured below).

TL:DR should I just keep sundara? I read one of Tyll's review (got into it waaay after he left) and he said it had better mids (the 400S) than the HD600
Keep the Sundara. 400SE is nowhere near it. Close to 5XX and 5XX is actually better than 400SE no matter what resolve says. Don't take one reviewers word as the gospel. I often disagree with Resolve's OPINIONS. No matter how great their video production is, it's still one man's opinion.

I'll look at his measurements since he finally figured out has past rig was a piece of crap. But I ignore the impressions.
