Listening to the song again. It's actually the first kick drum going tap tap. And not the bass.

Can certain bass frequencies make the drivers rattle and is that normal? Because that happens on this one song I played. Even at lower gain too.

From memory, On YouTube, @Currawong ’s review of the v2 mentions that you can feel the vibrations and he felt like he had to check by touching them

on my hekse I have heard and felt a bit of a rumble at times from the low end that’s a bit trippy but no real rattling sound

It's really hard to put the sound into words. It's like you don't get the definition of the kick drum. But two weird sounds instead. Like it can't play it. It's so strange.

It sounds blown. I heard it on another rap drum sound. It completely ruins the track for me. How are warranties on these? For 2nd hand ownership?

I believe warranty is 3 years.
Don’t know if transferable.
let us know how you go - I’m pretty sure hifiman is pretty much pretty good (ie reasonable) when issues arise

Not necessarily.
HiFiMAN has excellent customer service I IME as well as another member here who had an issue with his Susvara paint coming off the grills. I'm not sure if he was the original owner, but they gave him a BNIB Susvara. If he would like to chime in, that's up to him. I'd give them a call and speak to them as well as trying to get the original receipt, which may help. But definitely give them a call.

After 21 days, still loving the He1000se with Questyle CMA Twelve very much. Even after hearing the Chord Hugo TT2 + M Scalar + Auris Nirvana + Susvara 2 weeks ago at Minidisc, I still feel I can live with just He1000se and the v280 or CMA 12 with Yggdrasil in attendance.
