If they are still on par with top STAXs in terms of performance, and have shed away quality issues of Jade I, then the price would be justified.
 
Obviously it wouldn't be affordable on an absolute level, but for people looking to get summit-tier 'stat setup, it would be one of the lowest-costing ones.

I am suggesting that a competent amp and headphone combo should be that much.
 
Reasonable for a stat and pin compatibility with STAX would be even better. An LCD-X/TH900 costs that much and without an amp.
 
Stats are hard to build hence the price. They better build a competent design than a cheap one like the Kingsound.
