Dignis Astrum for RS8 is online and available in 3 colors: warm gray, blue and black. Overvall design looking quite posh, protective and luxurious – especially the custom detailed vent backplate. Went with warm gray to go with Ti.
I don't get the point either. For me it looks like the original case from Hiby (only with additional colors black and warm grey and) with a little more perfect stitching and slightly less material on the bottom side.
An improvement for any case would be a flip cover on the top side for additional screen protection.

It seems to be metal against metal, don’t you think there could be a risk of scratching RS8’s back when putting the cover on and off by example ?
Or maybe they don’t really touch each other as it seems the back is rather thick, so there could be a thin air space between RS8’s back and cover’s back …

RS8 doesn't get particularly hot so I went with the HiBy full back cover case in blue. Also remember to ping HiBy (or your dealer) for a bottom panel protection strip. That's really the only part of the DAP that's really susceptible to scratching (other than the back plate, on which I've put the spare film screen protector for added protection).

Had to get one as I love my Dignis N8ii case. New cases always make my daps feel fresh again since it's what you directly interact with.
Went with warm grey for that Fender Brownface vibe.
It was around 30-33°C every day here last week. After an hour of usage the back was close to uncomfortably warm on the leg in the pocket. The bottom of the RS8 was hot, especially the grass protection plugs. Almost unbearable for a longer touch.
Interestingly, that's when the RS8 sounded best.
