Sounds great. Would be interesting to see Hiby upcoming devices “road map”. Like Fiio did.I persanally would like to have a more portable version. Something like RS4 maybe.

Thanks for your help here. I've been occupied with some heath matters but I'll try to get in touch with the contract provided and hope I can get it working again.Contact hello@hiby.com . Quote from this thread for the things you've tried so far. They may be able to advise you of further things to try.
If you bought direct from HiBy, the email to contact for a return for service is also hello@hiby.com .
Sorry about that.

For those with the RS6 since launch, how is the battery? How much hours of use are you getting?
Any tweaks for better battery life ?

I've had mine since March, 2022 and currently get ~ 5-6 hours playing high res. files at moderate volum,e via 4.4 mm balanced headphone output. Note I generally only charge to 80% as is said to be better for battery lifespan. Hope this helps. It's a great device. For those with the RS6 since launch, how is the battery? Yes, and I'm pleasantly surprised that the penalty for wi-fi streaming or Bluetooth output seems low, estimate 10-15% shorter battery life.Do you also stream ? If so, how many hours do you get ?

I'm starting to think I might reset my device and try again, I'm getting less battery lifeYes, and I'm pleasantly surprised that the penalty for wi-fi streaming or Bluetooth output seems low, estimate 10-15% shorter battery life.
May be worthwhile, I imagine it is possible that there may be other processes running that only a reset will terminate.I'm starting to think I might reset my device and try again, I'm getting less battery life
Had mine for about a year and battery is still going strong getting around 7 hours streaming music (High gain, 4.4mm)
I followed some android de-bloat advice early on and I think it made a difference - https://npaudio.boards.net/thread/243/hiby-rs6
I always also ensure there is no unnecessary android services running within dev settings while I’m using it. In terms of battery protection I try to avoid charging while using it, but if I do I’ll charge with low current instead of fast charging to avoid overheating the battery.
It’s such a fantastic device, especially with the introduction of PEQ and its capability to switch bitrate seamlessly for bitperfect playback (unlike Mac). It has almost become the core of my desktop & home audio systems too!

When using the Settings / Battery options - you can enable the Battery Saver (for longer operation between charges), and you can set the Max Battery charge % (to extend the battery's lifetime).
One thing to note about setting the max charge % - the RS6 needs to be powered on when charging, for the charge to stop at your setting. If it's powered off while charging, it will charge to 100%.

There is a problem with Fixed Sample Rate pluggin, it's not scrolling up to 48000, latest firmware, and I have tried to make everything small ( font etc) in display settings, not helping that
