That's my bet too. That and an RS8, and hopefully both this year. Now that I've heard RS6 I'm partial to R2R sound. I just hope it gets picked up and improved upon, and that the return of AKM and rise of RoHM doesn't kill R2R efforts prematurely.

For 2 years now I have been listening to Campfire Solaris SE, and I thought that this was the end game for me. But a couple of months ago, having decided that it would be nice to buy good dynamic IEM for RS6 ( for true oldschool sound), over this month I probably listened to all the IEMs that I could get my hands on, and came to the conclusion that Dunu Zen Pro play best with this DAP. To be honest, I have never been a fan of pure dynamic sound, and unexpectedly rediscovered it. For 2 weeks now I can not hear enough of this bunch

Hi all, just got my RS6, can anyone tell me where I can download the latest firmware instead of via WiFi please? I try to download by Wifi but cannot sucess due to connection cut off....the message 'no network" displayed even it can still access the internet page normally..Hiby web page do not have RS6 firemware for download. Thanks.

Go into settings, System, and find the option to 'clear cache'. That should fix your network error issue.

My only wish for RS6 is for it to have a little more dynamic. I feel it can sort off struggle on the big orchestra pieces where a lot is taking place. It lineout sounds fine when Im feeding an amp, but when I have the same IEM connected to its headphone out, things sound confused, which leads me to believe the issue is the amp section is not able to keep up with supplying Faudio Major enough current to give its driver going.

My complain is not about loudness, it is plenty loud, it is supplying the voltage/current when we have a mixture of low frequency in large orchestral pieces.

That's where a larger DAP with bigger battery and more power (RS8 *cough cough*) would nail it. Please HiBy, PLEASE!

R8 (2020) came out after R5 (2019).
R6 arrived in Late 2020, and RS6 in late 2021.
I bet they works on R2/R3 and in late 2022 we will see….
