@Joe Bloggs what is the process of IEM creators submitting their IEM presets? I'm requesting HUM to add a profile for HUM Pristine .

My first impression of RS6 paired with IER-Z1R left a very bad impression on me that made me never want to pair it with RS6. I was listening to Z1R today using my Chord Hugo and thought to give it a try with RS6.
From being the worst pairing with the unit it has now become one of my favourite IEM to pair with RS6 with one caveat, this pairing will be very revealing. I never thought I would ever use this term with either IER-Z1R or RS6, but with this pairing, using Sokolov Schuber, Beethoven live recording, I can hear the breathing of the musician with ease.
That means, compressed, poor recording or bright recording will not sound pleasant with this pairing.

Can you share your filter measurements, Joe? I’d love to see both impulse and the roll off characteristics, as some of those impulse responses look exactly the same to my eyes. That filter 10 is very unique, it’s a backwards minimum phase with all pre-ringing. Seems like a strange choice..

So it looks like we have, based upon the measurements in that review:
Linear Phase fast filters for Darwin Default, 1, 2, 6, and 7.
Slow roll off for 3 and 4
Some sort of bezier filter for 5, 8, and 9?
Backwards minimum phase for 10.

Would love to see what you have so far, Joe.

My last day off, before work choas begins, I had a chance to play with all my gears. I need to retract my comment regarding selling my P6. RS6 and P6 are both equally good on their way, with RS6 been more of a complete dap and P6 easier to listen to sound, due to its less thicker tonality.

Listening to RS6 and Faudio Major, I have to say this is the best synergy for my taste, but can't help but wonder how will RS6 sound if higher precision resistors are used. We all know it is a matter of time for RS6 pro to be released.
