Did anybody try some sensitive iem's plugged into 4,4mm port, thoughts about hiss?

There is a very slight hiss with the balanced cable with A18t you can notice while the song is starting and nothing is being played yet, but later disappears behind the music. I have to say, everyone has their own level of sensitivity, so take it with a pinch of salt - though I don't see the reason to use the balanced output for a very sensitive IEM.

thanks,

yeah, you are right, sometimes balanced output on DAP's could be too much for sensitive iem's.

so the question is, how is going on with 3,5mm port, could you try it please?

SE is all good.

how did it compare ? Is this only in tidal ? or will UAPP be able to do the same ?

Only using the Tidal application. I don't have the UAPP on it so I cannot compare, but probably UAPP would not support R8 at the moment, or? I am not sure how the MQA stuff works. At least "looks like" MQA decoding via the Tidal application works.

but I think it has an internal battery like any dap, that is indisputably a disadvantage if you want to keep the QA390 for a long time, or is it powered from the source?
Yes, this player has batteries for about 10-11 hours of operation, but if the operation will be carried out at home, the power can be connected bypassing the batteries (direct that is).

Anyone know what is difference between "Absolute Noise Floor" and "Noise" ?

I am a little bit confused, because Fiio indicates his "Noise Floor" in uV (uVrms) parameter, not V (or Vrms).

I am asking, because background hiss is dealbreaker for me.
