@Joe Bloggs I am playing with the systemwide PEQ and already got a point for improvement for the next update

If you want to set a specific frequency or q value it is really hard to hit the right value with the sliders, it would be much easier if there is a "-" and "+" button at the left and at the right (just like in MSEB) for fine tuning.

Or even better would be entering the values by typing in numbers.

To be perfectly honest a systemwide GEQ as simple as wavelet would already be enough for me

Funny you mention that, you can simply save a preset to file, open the file and edit the numbers there.

Or simply import an AutoEQ preset.

Also if it is anything like the previous in-app version, you should be able to tap on the number instead of the slider and get a text box of the number?

(let me just update the firmware on a supported device to confirm)

Systemwide PEQ? I missed the update where they added systemwide PEQ?

HA! that´s it! :L3000:

PS: i tried importing EQ settings that i downloaded from Autoeq.app but that did not work (wrong format)

PPS: Can anybody tell me what is the standard Q value of Wavelet?
I just want to use my Wavelet setting but now i can change way too much (which is great, when you perfectly know what you are doing) :-D

The right format there would be the EqualizerAPO Parametric EQ :)

Wavelet doesn't have Q values because its EQ is specified as direct responses to a crazy number of frequency points (so not a parametric equalizer but a crazy-number-of-bands graphic equalizer)

That´s the one i tried but it says "Data Error"
My next guess is there's a band in the file specifying controls under 30Hz while this EQ bottoms out at 30Hz 😅

System wide PEQ + UAPP makes this the best DAP I've ever had. Very impressed!
Yes! Imho it makes much more sense to have a device that you can adjust to your liking instead of buying something much more expensive with a predefined flavour.
To be honest I don´t know what a more expensive DAP' can bring to the table instead of more power which most people don´t really need anyway

PS: Hiby will take over the DAP market! :gs1000smile::clap:
