Hi Guys, I need an advise on selecting among these two beautiful models:

HiBy R6 2020 and iBasso DX220.

Actually I own DX220 and that is really amazing unit with great sound performance. Now I am in dilemma, to sell it and take new HiBy R6 2020 or stay with DX220. For me the most important point in player of course is the Sound Quality!

Hands down DX220 with Fidelizer Ultimate Mod amp8 for me....there is also a DIY mod of amp 8 on headfi if you are on a budget...

DX220 is summit-fi *for my ears*...hits the spot on so many technicalities.....dynamics/detail/imaging/PRaT/tonality etc

No more DAP hunting...wow.

I found E1DA9038 had better imaging and dynamics than R6 2020...(that is a cheap as chips dongle DAC/amp using the same DAC chip as R6 2020)...to my ears HIBY damped down the absolute raw ability of the ES9038Q2M chips in R6 2020.
I also found that volume button on top of R6 annoying as heck vs being ergonomically accessible on the side of DX220 with one hand.
DX220...BOOM !
