Just received mine and I have several questions.

I find the sound is like congested (don't know if this is the good term) and a little harsh. So is the line-out also concerned buy burn in process ? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Also as the LO as variable volume, what is the recommanded level ? 100 like my Ibasso DX160 does when I turn it on LO mode ?

It depends on your iems.
To me, R6 20 is wide sounding, more wide than deep.
This holds true for Isa, Ely & Penon Legend.
Give it some time. Mine has >200 hours.

Yes you're right. He needs time. But there's already wonderful moments of listening

The external construction quality on this thing is great—gorilla glass, aluminum, volume wheel, nice heft.
In this regard miles ahead of dx240.
Only thing, be careful when leaving set flat on surface without case. If surface is smooth with even slight pitch, R6 20 starts slowly gliding away. Fall down go boom! The gorilla glass is polished like it’s lubricated. Lucky I saw it in time

Me too. I have the same leather case and all the dust plugs. I am now waiting for my clear TPU soft case, carrying storage box and tempered glass screen protector to arrive

I have the smoke colored TPU and it’s good. It’s significantly more protective for taking the R6 out of the house. What storage box did you order?

First thing I did was get the case for it.

Yeah I’ve got that case.
I’ll say this—it’s no Dignis!
The thing is, the bare unit is so satisfying to hold I resist leaving it cased.

Less than USD30 for all the storage box, TPU soft case and tempered glass screen protector.

Haven't tried it with the leather case on but I think it should not be a problem.
