Does anyone know what "internet radio streaming" means, specifically? Does it support the streams from Radio.com or Tunein.com or what? I'm sure the folks who still have fully-functioning ears are excited about Tidal, but I'd be happy to throw 91-XTRA on while I'm mowing the lawn.

I have the same question. I wonder how the Tidal interface will work.
Also, does anyone know if this will have any other outputs besides 3.5mm?

I wanted to hook this to a DAC via the DACs digital input.

Well, I pre-ordered against my better judgement. My only other experience with Hiby is the W5 which is pretty terrible. Here's to hoping.

Hiby players are very solid. Fast startup. Clean output. Currently have R3 Pro, ordered R2 as well.

i ordered the R2 along with the FD1. shoot, for $130, it was too hard to pass up. I have the R5 and i love it immensely, so this will be my on the go portable.

For anything offline, probably not. Assuming they isolate the output from wifi interference, it's the streaming in this form factor that will be unique and is exciting.

from what i see, it's just a standard 3.5 on the R2, and balanced out of the FD1.

Ordered mine yesterday. My first Hiby. As long as the SQ is as good as my Cayin N3/Sandisc Sansa Clip(dead)+ I’ll be happy. I’m curious to see some reviews as well.

R3 had it, R3 Pro has it. Shanling M0 has it and it is way smaller than the R2. Fiio M3 Pro has it. I dont see why R2 would not.
Confirmed: FD1 amp is connected through a usb c to usb c, usb audio routing working.

Because the R3 lists it as a feature in its spec sheet on the line about USB, but the R2 doesn't. I would absolutely not assume a feature not advertised or listed in the specs is there.
